Having provided winch and recovery training throughout industry, civil engineering, forestry and arboriculture and to the emergency services, we have seen a huge increase in enquiries for our RoSPA accredited winch instructor training.
Whether your operators are required to use hand winches, vehicle mounted or trailer winches, hydraulic or electrically powered machines, we have the experience and the courses suitable for your potential instructors.
The RoSPA Winch Instructor course can be run from our venues or your workplace (depending upon suitability) and using your equipment, which we can supplement, to ensure that operators understand the suitability, capabilities and limtations of a range of winch types and accessories such as straps/strops, pulley/snatch blocks, shackles and anchor points.
We would anticipate that candidates already have experience as winch operators, and work in a supervisory or management role already and have a good understanding of H&S principles, especially risk assessment and management as well as safe working procedures.
